Hotel Reservation deadline  for YMCA Districts in March (at LaSalle University) as well as Junior Olympics at GCIT at Philadelphia Downtown Courtyard. Rooms are $129/night. The address is: 21 N Juniper Street • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 1910. All reservations must be done through Mike (Mike@wsyswim.org),  however you will pay for your rooms when you arrive. Mini Championships at Northern York High School.  Register here using Team Unify.  This meet is for swimmers all swimmers aged 9 and under at both WSY and Y of Northern York practice locations.  All swimmers will receive a free custon 2012 Mini Champs t-shirt.  Warm-Ups are 12:30pm, and the meet will begin at 1:35pm with a 6pm ending time.  Entries received to date are here. WSY Championship Pasta Dinner  for all WSY swimmers no matter what Championship meet you are attending (Mini Champs, Y Districts, Junior Olympics, YMCA Championships etc).  This will be held in the YMCA teen room from 6:15-8pm.  We will assign the practice groups a specific "seating time"
 

Saturday-Sunday, March 10-11, 2012

Championship Meet   YMCA Districts iat LaSalle University. [qualifying times] There have been some significant changes this year (2012) for the Y District meet in comparison to the last 20 years. These changes are the first step in a two step "Change" which will bring major changes in 2013 which include having three (3) District meets in comparison to currently having two (2) District meets. The biggest change this year is the 13-14 age groups will swim on Saturday AM (arrive at LaSalle by 7:30am), and the Senior Group will swim Saturday afternoon (arrive at LaSalle by 1pm). The 9-10 age group will swim on Sunday AM (arrive at LaSalle by 8am), and the 11-12 age group will swim Sunday afternoon (arrive at LaSalle by 12 noon).

This events for this meet (you may swim two (2) individuals and one relay-the team is however only permitted to swim one (1) relay per age group) are chosen by the coaches based on the qualifiers.  Those WSY swimmers that are eligible to attend are here

YMCA National Swimming Championships at Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolinia.  WSY athletes will depart on Saturday, March 31, 2012.  WSY Team Information page is here.  On Friday, April 6, 2012 there will be a one day Long Course Meet (timed finals) which we will be competing.  Eligible swimmers for 2012 Short Course Nationals are here

WSY Annual Stroke Clinic begins.  Registration information is here.  This six (6) week program is for our AGA swimmers, and pre-competitive swimmers as well as "Summer League" and Country Club swimmers from the greater Harrisburg and West Shore areas.
